I am still on cloud nine from all the sweet and encouraging words I received after my first post. What I thought was going to be a day of embarrassment ended up filling me with joy and affirmation. I can’t help but think of how thankful I am. Some people get no support when following their dreams and for some reason, God chose to put a few cheerleaders in my life. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!
There are a few people who have been working behind the scenes to help me muster up the kahunas to do this thing but Morgan put in overtime and then some. He volunteered to take all of my pictures and can we all just take a moment to acknowledge that he is REALLY good at it? He also showed up to my apartment with chicken minis the morning of the shoot. I think I’ll keep him.
I fell in love with this top while browsing around in Savvy on campus corner. I am loving anything I see with that mustard yellow color for fall and the light blue mixed in is just YES! If you go and purchase (which I highly suggest that you do) I would get a size down because the fit seems to run big. My shorts I have literally had for years. Seriously I legit remember wearing them with my “Jesus is my homeboy” shirt, HA! Anybody? No?…. K cool. And even better they were less than 20 dollars at forever! The shoes are actually a really funny story. My mom text me a picture of them suggesting I buy them for her birthday. So I went to get them for her and they only had one size left…MINE! So I got them for me instead and got her something else. We have giggled a lot while she made fun of me for it and although I cant say I blame her, I think it was fate.
