Balliets Spring 16 Preview Party

It is always an honor to work with Balliets, they were my first blog collaboration ever and took a chance on this random little blonde who considered herself lucky enough to walk through those Balliets big glass doors in the same enclosed space with the likes of Chloe, Jimmy Choo, and Miu Miu just to name a few. In case you’re not from around Oklahoma…. it’s pretty much the only place in the state you can find those brands. So when they approached me about being apart of their Spring Preview Party, I screamed and squealed with my room mate and bff Chloe for a good five minutes. Don’t believe me? Ask our neighbors.

“Oh no sorry sir everything is just fine we were just really excited about something so we were screamed. It was a good scream!” – Chloe

“Oh. Uh, Okay well good! Im glad you are okay then. “- concerned sweet neighbor

BUT I WASN’T OKAY! This Carrie Bradshaw wanna be just about died of retail happiness. Here are some snapshots of the event. Balliets sure does know how to throw a party that’s for sure

Here is a little area I styled with some of my Balliets spring favs. I am absolutely IN LOVE with this blush color. Pretty soon everything in my room/closet is going to be blush and Im not even going to apologize to you all because you should be doing the same thing. It flatters every skin tone and the color is subtle, making it work in countless ways for your wardrobe. Let shades of blush, rose, and mauve take over your closet’s real estate this spring. Its the new neutral but with a sweet feminine twist.

This Miu Miu bag is a great investment piece because it can be worn no matter what season it is. These Chloe shoes… DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. Lets just all have a moment of silence for them. Chloe is killing the spring/summer shoe game this season. Every. single. one. makes you want to sell all your other shoes to own one. Im obsessed with Stella McCartney bags and thought this wallet was a fun and edgy.

I’m so desperate to wear this dress I legit asked my brother to take me as his prom date this year. All time low for an all time high in this blush baby. The answer was a big fat NO and Im sure you’re all shocked. 😉 Dress up a classic elegant dress with a show stopping necklace like this and turn heads.

This bag. I don’t really think you need much more of an explanation from me.

Rebecca Minkoff is one of my favorite designers so I set up shop at the trunk show. Not only is she a pretty inspirational person ( I geek out and watch her interviews) but she keeps fashionistas coming back for more and we simply can’t get enough. My favorite thing about her line is that everything has the look of luxury while maintaining a fun, contemporary, and feminine appeal. This chick is on fiyyyaa and Im taking notes. Balliets had an impressive trunk show line up that included amazing brands such as Eileen Fisher, Mill Jeans, Wolford,  Gurhan Jewelry, and of course, Rebecca Minkoff.

I had an incredible time meeting some of you at this event and shopping around in one of OKC’s best. If you didn’t get a chance to join us you should still stop by Balliets! Thanks for reading ya’ll!

P.S. Those little brown cookies were really something else. I ate 1 or 8 no biggie. There was also a cabana boy passing out margarita’s that were delish!
