When it comes to most things in life, I typically tend to air more on the side of a “you get what you pay for” type attitude. But in the world of cosmetics, that is not always the case. Drugstore beauty brands have seriously stepped up their game. Lines like Loreal, Maybelline, NYX, and Milani have some serious products out that rival it’s high end competition. It seems like every other day I’m seeing celeb makeup artists reveal more and more tried and true beauty bargains that I end up being obsessed with. Could all thats different be fancy packaging, luxury brand names, and a serious difference in $$$$ ? Honey I love displaying all my cute lil Mac lipsticks and showcasing my Chanel makeup but I know good and well I am not the queen of England. If a 10 dollar blush is going to be the best then COME TO MOMMA! Now don’t get me wrong there are still a lot of subpar and less than average ones hanging out on the aisle alongside them. Translation: You can get really good stuff you just have got to know what you’re looking for.
That’s why I do what I do. Don’t waste money on drugstore products because Lord knows I already waste enough for the both of us just trying to test every product out for this blog so, just take my advice ladies. I’ll admit I haven’t tried it all but I have tried most of it. Here are some of my favorites that I think are well worth your money.

Here are a few I think you should pay special attention to.
#1. I love these cleansing toilettes. They smell fresh and amazing and don’t leave a greasy residue after using them. They remove makeup like a dream and your face feels squeaky clean afterwards. If you are not using a toner after your cleanser then you need to consider adding something like this to your nightly skin care routine. It’s just a fact of life that your cleanser cannot get everything off.
#11. I love this magic lumi primer. It is a very neutral, luminous, and pearlescent glow that I think looks beautiful on just about everyones skin tone. I love this high end primer but, honestly I can achieve the same look I’m going for with this primer for a whopping 30 cheaper.
#6. I am very impressed with a lot of Milani products but this blush is it’s shining star in my opinion. It reminds me of the hourglass blushes in its finish and yet again …. a major price difference. It comes in a lot of colors but this one is so perfect for summer.
#9. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polish. AMAZING. I cannot say enough good things about this polish. When I use the top coat over this it stays on weeks longer than my OPI or Essie polishes.
#8. There is nothing like using this body wash at night time and then snuggling into bed. It leaves my skin super soft, lathers easily and smells like a dream. It is so calming and just puts me right to sleep. I used to use Laura Mercier scrub but then discovered this at my moms house one time and just like that my Laura scrub is collecting dust in the corner of my shower.
#2 and #7. Don’t make me waste my breath. JUST GET IT. Get them BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!
Welp that’s all for now folks. What are YOUR drugstore beauty favorites? Let me know in the comments below, I would love to try them.
