Double Blue

This jean on jean look is probably going to be one of the easiest trends to incorporate into your spring wardrobe without spending a dime. Chances are you’ve got a pair of jeans, unless you’re in college and you’ve traded all your pants in for lulu’s, in that case… keep doing what you’re doing! I would give anything to be back in college wearing my Pj’s all day ! haha Anyways if you own jeans and a jean/light or dark blue top this look is easy to immediately pull together.

Still not convinced you can pull it off?? Why?…because… THIS …

Yea lets all take a moment to privately reminisce and quietly LOL that this happened.

Good news: We can learn from JT and Britney’s mistakes. (God bless em) The cool thing about this trend is it that is practically impossible to mess up IF you follow a few DO’s and DONTS.

BTB’s Guide to NOT epically failing Denim

DO: Mix and max different colored denims with different textures. (unlike JT and Britt did) Got some ripped jeans? PERF.

DON’T: Accessorize with your denim on denim. Leave the jean confined to clothing and just say NO to denim shoes, Hats, or bags.

DO: Dress up that jean on jean! Pair it with statement heels, a red lip for a color pop, or fun colorful jewelry!

DON’T: Forget to flatter yourself. Got a problem area? Don’t forget that darker wash denim will slim down your legs or mask a belly! Your lighter washes will accentuate your best features! For a lot of us girls that means a light jean top and dark wash ripped denim could be the most flattering option.

Just remember to pair different shades of denim together and you’ve nailed it. Shop some of my jean favorites below!
