Lipstick Must Have

Sometimes finding the perfect lipstick shade is a lot like finding a husband. It takes lots of trial and error but you don’t mind trying on different colors, formulas, and brands to find the one that works best for you. I have been on the hunt for the perfect bold pink lip for months and I think my search for prince pink pout is finally over! (and trust me I’ve kissed a lot of frogs) I was hesitant to post about it because it is a special edition lipstick collaboration with Mac and I am scared they will run out before I have the chance to run back and buy 47 tubes to make sure I have a lifetime supply before they discontinue ! haha But its just too good to keep all to myself. Seriously every girl needs this stick in their makeup collection. You’ll reach for this lipstick when you have somewhere to go. Somewhere you know you’ll want to make an impression. And I already know your girlfriends will be asking to borrow it from you. Ready for the breakdown?:

It’s called “Dangerously Red” and the name ain’t lying honey. Its dangerously good. The color payoff is unreal and has a smooth and creamy soft texture as you apply. The consistency was neither drying nor hydrating for me. Which is saying a lot because the majority of Mac Matte shades I own dry my lips out very fast. Do you struggle with that too? Make sure to scrub your lips and apply a chapstick before application if you have lips on the drier side to begin with. My lipstick lasted about 6 hours before I had to reapply and I did leave a lipstick coffee stain on my cup so the shade does transfer. But maybe thats the price you pay for a matte finish that doesn’t suck every ounce of moisture from your lips. It is a bright pink/fuchsia with red and blue undertones.

In short, On a scale of one to where have you been all my life, this lipstick lands on the latter end for me. Let me know if you feel the same way! Click below to purchase yours!  All makeup used in these photos are linked below. Just click on the images.
