Finding a Mother’s Day Gift can sometimes be super hard. It’s pretty easy to grab a bouquet and call it a day and although I’m sure she loves flowers, my mom would rather a thoughtful gift that she can enjoy more than a week. Take some time to think about things your mom enjoys or wouldn’t buy herself but would love to have. Ask yourself some questions and finding the perfect gift for her might be a little easier than you think.
What does she do for fun? Does she enjoy cooking? Gardening? Love Makeup? Movies? Clothes? After you think about some things she likes and enjoys just pick something she could use doing one of her favorite hobbies. My mom always carries about 20 lipsticks around in her purse and that is not an exaggeration! I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. So I know I could always pick up a couple pretty shades to add to her collection. Or my mom loves clothes and jewelry. My mom is so selfless and would never go and buy an expensive pair of shoes for herself. So getting her something she would love to have but wouldn’t get out and purchase herself would really mean a ton to any mom!
or you could do something fun like treat her to a day at the salon getting mani’s and pedi’s with you! Mom’s love spending time with you and maybe planning a fun date for the two of you to enjoy together could say “I love you” more than an expensive piece of jewelry.
No matter what you do for your mom, take time to tell her just how much she means to you on Mother’s Day. Because at the end of the day there is really no material item that will hold more value and meaning than your words telling her how special and appreciated she is! Because after all , no one is happy when momma ain’t happy!
