I can honestly say that I have never felt more love in my life than during our wedding showers. I cannot even hardly describe the feeling , it’s just something you have to wait to go through or, if you already have you know what I am talking about. It is truly the sweetest time and memories and I will cherish them for years to come.
When it came time to register for our wedding showers I was clueless. My claim to fame is that I use an oven as an extra shoe rack and honey, I ain’t lyin! I didn’t even know where to start in terms of registering and felt completely overwhelmed by all the kitchen items that we needed. Morgan and I have both never had to stock our kitchen so we are literally starting from scratch! I obviously knew we needed nice plates, and a few pots and pans but what on earth is a slow cooker and why is everyone freaking out about it? Or what on earth was the difference between Le Crueset and All Cad???
I have used WeddingWire multiple times throughout my engagement so I, yet again, turned to their website for guidance. Surely there was someone else out there that needed some help too. Not only did they have a central location to register for the top registry places on their home page where its easy to sign up on with the click of a button but, they also had a wedding registry must have checklist…. This made me look real good in front of my mom and Morgan. My mom insisted she take a look at our list and was floored when she read through and felt like we had gotten most everything. I dared not tell her I had a secret little weapon ! 😉
For all those married gals out there what was your favorite wedding gift you received ? Any kitchen appliances you just absolutely can’t live without? Let me know so I can add it to my registry before the time is up!
